Blind or visually impaired support services involve direct support to people who are blind, deaf-blind, or those with low vision. Program focuses on teaching Independent Living Skills (ILS) to people with a visual impairment.

Additional Information

Comprehensive orientation to blindness training program which includes classes in braille, cane travel (also called mobility), home management, computers, industrial arts and life skills. For all ages.

Other services include:
* Senior Program - for those 55 and older who are losing their sight
* Programs to help the blind find work as new entrants into the workforce or transition to new careers or adapt their work to blindness
* Teaches Braille to both English speakers and English learners
* Employment and career transition programs
* Programs for students
