Description

Project Chemical Health Intervention, Linkage and Development (CHILD) provides outreach, assessment, referral and case management support to pregnant women who are reported to Hennepin County Child Protection because of drug or alcohol abuse including marijuana and/or prescription drugs not prescribed.

Project CHILD collaborates with many county and community based resources for services.

Eligibility

Services are for women age 16 and older who are less than 34 weeks pregnant. They recommend a chemical health assessment, available at most treatment facilities.

If you are pregnant and are using drugs or alcohol, they can connect you to the chemical health services you need.
